This is truly beautiful. I love the way the poems and images flow so naturally from one to the next. I liked the pace too: how did you decide on how fast to go? How fast do you suppose the poems would flow in in a night of renga with Basho and his buddies? I must admit that I found it a bit overwhelming too.

Take a bow. Take several hundred bows. Groundbreaking and explosively exciting-- exploding the poetic genres of haiku, senryu, and tanka into new visual and audio ultra/outer realms of creativity. Congratulations.

Thank-you for that. We are such visual creatures and you put the words and the images so beautifully together. It seemed to make the words more powerful when seen with the beauty of the world around us or that which has been created.

I finally was able to clear the decks around here so that I could enjoy this presentation without interruption. Haiga, so dear to my life...this is a great joy to see it presented so well and so completely. As I bring haiga into the community I'm delighted to have this video to share with others so they also may find the joys in their own lives presented in such an elegant and simply human expression. Many thanks for a marvelous gift.

Mesmerizing! The elegance of the video presentation, the pairings of image, verse and music is stunning.
Also, a treat to see Andy Virgil's amazing work there.
I'm honored to be part of it. Thank you, Al and Donna!

This is very inspirational to those of us new to the genre of Japanese short form poetry - Haiku and Haiga in particular.
You have pulled from so many sources - written, musical and visual to create this haunting piece. What a great way to start the new year!
